Howdy. My name is Donna, my husband Don and I have a great big blended family.
We have the customary “mine, yours and ours”.
We have also been called to adopt a sibling group of three.
That brings our total kid count to nine. (Yep, no typo – 9 kids).
As you can imagine, that size family makes life pretty hectic. Never a dull moment in our house.
I desperately try to “focus on the funny” because life really is better when your laughing.

Wow, nine kids. We always wanted a big family, but right now two is about all we can handle right now! (Although, we watched Cheaper by the Dozen and our boy said, “We should have 12 kids. You’re almost there; you already have two. You only need…(counting on fingers)…ten more!” 🙂

Big families are fun, but a lot of work.
I’m exhausted all the time. But somehow I think I’ll have time to write. Guess they’ve finally driven me crazy.

Yours, Mine and Ours was one of my FAVORITE movies when I was growing up. I adored it. While I marvel at your fortitude, there is a teensy part of me that is envious. There is something special about big families. Enjoy yours!
